B2B Belt Sampling Service
Service d'échantillonnage de ceintures : frais, outillage et flux de validation
HongDing turns a confirmed brief, tech pack or authorized reference into a physical belt sample your team can measure, test and approve. We confirm the sample type, inputs, fees, tooling, revisions and timing basis before work starts.
- Timing begins after written input confirmation
- Fees and tooling are scoped before work starts
- Golden sample approval is linked to the current production specification

Choose the Sample Type before Work Starts
Choose the sample type according to the decision it must support: feasibility, construction, appearance, fit or final pre-production approval.
Feasibility Review
HongDing checks the available brief, identifies missing decisions, reviews material and hardware routes, and records risks that must be resolved before a physical sample is useful.
Output: gap list and proposed sampling routeConstruction Prototype
A prototype is used to answer structural or functional questions such as layer stack, buckle attachment, ratchet engagement, reversible movement, elastic recovery or decoration fixing. Appearance details may remain provisional.
Output: physical proof of selected functionsDevelopment Sample
A development sample combines the agreed material, dimensions, construction, hardware, color, branding and packaging direction so the buyer can issue measurable feedback.
Output: review sample and recorded open pointsPre-Production Golden Sample
The golden sample is the final approved physical reference associated with the current tech pack, bill of materials, artwork, packaging files and approval comments for bulk planning.
Output: controlled approval referenceIncomplete Product Definition
A style image without a size datum, layer stack, material article or tolerance can produce a visually similar belt that does not fit the intended program.
Control: specification gap logProvisional Components
A stock buckle, substitute color or temporary backing may be suitable for one review purpose but unsuitable as a bulk reference unless its status is clearly recorded.
Control: provisional item registerStart the Sampling Clock Only after the Required Inputs Are Confirmed
Sampling time starts only after the required specification, materials, hardware route, commercial terms and approval responsibilities are confirmed. Any timing reference remains project specific and requires written confirmation.
Entrée 01
Product Identity and Version
Mark the style, sample number, revision, colorway, size and approval status on the physical reference.
Entrée 02
Material Appearance and Hand Feel
Use the sample to approve visible surface, color range, hand feel, stiffness or stretch and any agreed swatch comparison; keep the hidden layer identity in the written BOM.
Entrée 03
Dimensions and Fit Datum
Measure belt width, finished-length datum, representative fit, hole or adjustment positions, tail length and buckle allowance against the current schedule.
Entrée 04
Hardware and Function
Operate the approved buckle, fastening or mechanism and review the component finish and interfaces that the physical sample is intended to prove.
Entrée 05
Construction and Finish
Review cutting, fold, stitching, edge treatment, punching, decoration fixing and other visible workmanship points that must repeat in bulk.
Entrée 06.
Brand and Retail Presentation
Review logo execution, visible color, hangtag, barcode position and the agreed packed presentation when those elements are inside the sample scope.
Match Each Buyer Input to a Reviewable Sampling Output
A complete brief reduces guesswork, but buyers do not need every answer at the start. HongDing can identify missing decisions and match each input to a reviewable sample output.
Concept, Tech Pack or Authorized Reference
Buyer input: current drawings, images, sample or concept plus the features that must remain. HongDing output: feasibility notes, missing-information list and recommended sample type.
Decision: what the first physical sample must proveDimensions, Size Range and Tolerances
Buyer input: belt width, finished-length datum, size system, hole spacing, target fit and critical tolerances. HongDing output: dimension schedule and measurement checkpoints.
Decision: how fit and consistency will be judgedMaterial Identity and Construction
Buyer input: material article or performance direction, layer stack, thickness, hand feel, stretch, color and claim language. HongDing output: proposed BOM route, swatch references and declared provisional choices.
Decision: what material is actually being approvedBuckle, Hardware and Tooling
Buyer input: component drawing or reference, material, finish, logo, function and interface. HongDing output: availability review, tooling decision, component reference and quoted exceptions.
Decision: stock, modified or newly tooled routeBranding and Color Standards
Buyer input: vector logo, placement, scale, Pantone or physical standard and legal ownership. HongDing output: artwork proof, sample method and approved position reference.
Decision: what the brand team is signing offPackaging and Retail Data
Buyer input: hangtag, barcode, label, bag, box, carton mark, language and SKU data. HongDing output: packaging proof route and a list of details to verify on the physical or printed proof.
Decision: what is needed for retail readinessSeparate Stock Hardware, Custom Finishes and New Tooling before Quotation
Hardware can control the sampling route. Confirm whether the project uses an available component, a new finish, a branded modification or newly tooled hardware.

Available Component
Record the supplier reference, dimensions, material, function and current finish. Availability for one sample does not reserve bulk quantity.
Quote line: component and any finishing workExisting Component with New Finish
Define plating or coating standard, color reference, texture, approved range and any corrosion or restricted-substance criteria.
Quote line: finish sample, testing and lead timeLogo on Existing Hardware
Confirm artwork ownership, process, size, position, legibility, mold or engraving requirement and whether the logo change affects the component structure.
Quote line: artwork proof and logo setupNew Tool or New Component
Approve the drawing, tolerance, material, mechanism and surface before cutting tooling. State who pays and which party controls the tool under the written agreement.
Quote line: tooling, component sample and revision termsCoordinate Design, Materials, Hardware and Making around One Approved Brief
Sampling moves more efficiently when design, materials, hardware and making teams work from the same current brief and return results to one project record.

Specification and Feasibility
Review the buyer's current files, expose missing decisions and establish one numbered brief for the sample team.
Owner: project development coordinationMaterial and Finish Route
Identify the actual material article, source and finish route. For applicable leather, separate upstream tanning evidence from Pro Pelli finishing records.
Owner: material and finishing coordinationHardware and Tooling Route
Check available components, special finish, logo modification or new tooling requirements before confirming cost and timing.
Owner: component sourcing and engineeringSample Making and Recording
Build the physical sample to the current brief and record material, hardware, construction, dimensions, branding, packaging and provisional items.
Owner: sample making and sample recordMove from Brief to Golden Sample through Eight Recorded Gates
Each stage should produce a buyer decision, a HongDing output and a record for the next step. A critical change may require an earlier stage to be reviewed again.
Enregistrement 0101. Submit the Current Brief
Buyer provides the tech pack or authorized reference, product purpose, dimensions, material and hardware direction, branding, packaging, test needs, commercial context and approval contacts.
Enregistrement 0202. Review Feasibility and Gaps
HongDing checks construction, material and hardware readiness, missing specifications, claim and test needs, provisional choices and whether the requested sample can answer the intended decision.
Enregistrement 0303. Confirm Scope, Fees and Timing Trigger
Both parties confirm sample type, deliverables, fee, tooling, included rounds, courier, test and packaging-proof scope, approval responsibility and the event that starts the schedule.
Enregistrement 0404. Prepare Materials and Hardware
HongDing matches the agreed article, color, buckle, trims, finish and packaging references, and identifies every substitute, unapproved item or new tool before assembly.
Enregistrement 0505. Make and Record the Sample
The sample is built to the current file. Its version, dimensions, material, hardware, construction, branding, packaging and provisional status are recorded for review.
Enregistrement 0606. Dispatch and Review
The buyer reviews the physical belt and any agreed proofs against the written criteria, then consolidates comments from design, procurement, quality and retail teams.
Keep the Evidence That Explains What Was Approved
The approval package should identify the correct sample, approved decisions, current revision and any questions that remain outside scope.
Lists received files, authorized references, standards, missing data, technical risks and every provisional choice used for the sample.
